For the people, by the people

Consider this :

Al Gore advocates for getting out of Iraq. So do many now, but he did so before the war.
He wants to curtail the spying programs. Also there he is in line with a lot of the others.
But he also wants single payer health care. In that, he is aligned with Dennis Kunicich and very few others (I don't know of any).

Aside of my respect for his first two positions, it is the third one that tells me, with the moral authority he now commands, he will weigh in heavily on this debate whether he runs or not.

He is by the people, for the people, as is Dennis.

Direct democracy. Current TV. If you haven't added Al to your contacts list on currentTV, go and do so now! The fact that his three opinions are webcam movies just like the others, is so smart to do.
http://current.com/

He clearly wants to return the power to the consenting governed.
