http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/index.php?smp=&lang=engHeavy storms swept through North Texas on Monday, flooding roads, damaging buildings and knocking out power to thousands of homes and businesses. The rain caused numerous accidents and traffic delays in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but no serious injuries were reported. One person was rescued after floodwaters submerged a stretch of roadway under elevated Interstate 635 in Dallas. Several vehicles were caught in the water, authorities said. A pickup truck and a school bus filled with students collided in Farmersville, about 35 miles northeast of Dallas. The impact knocked the bus on its side in a ditch, and a 15-year-old girl was taken to a hospital for back pain. Electricity was out for as many as 20,000 Dallas-Fort Worth customers, according to Oncor Electric Delivery. Wind blew the roof off of a warehouse in Dallas and off a vacant building in Haltom City, a Fort Worth suburb. The storms were caused by a cold front rolling eastward across the region. More rain was expected in the evening before subsiding Tuesday, weather officials said.)

and in Bangladesh 100+ fishermen in 18 trawlers are missing after terrible storm hits area
A terrible storm that lashed Bangladesh's southern coastal belt Monday night left five people killed and about 100 fishermen missing in the Bay of Bengal, officials said Tuesday. The storm triggered by a land depression struck the country's southern districts of Barisal, Bhola, Barguna, Patuakhali, Bagerhat and Faridpur, leaving about 200 people injured. It also destroyed hundreds of mud houses, damaged crops and betel and banana garden and uprooted innumerable trees. The deaths and injuries were caused by collapse of houses and fallen trees. Telephone lines and power supply were snapped in most of the affected districts aggravating misery of the people and making it difficult for the local administration to conduct rescue and relief operations in remote villages and islands.
More than 100 fishermen with 18 trawlers were missing in the Bay of Bengal during the inclement weather since Monday afternoon, coastguard officials in southern Bagerhat district said. Captain Abidur Rahman, Commander of southwestern Mongla Coastguard said they were conducting drives in the Bay to rescue the fishermen. Land depression was however weakened into a well-marked low and lies over capital Dhaka and eastern Comilla regions Tuesday morning, said a meteorologic office bulletin. It said squally weather may continue to affect the country's maritime ports of southeastern port Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and southwestern port Mongla. They were advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal number three. )
