Where is the MSM with the attack on Randi Rhodes?

I just heard about it on Stephanie Miller's show and now on Big Eddie's show. But not on CNN, MSNBC, or of course not Fox. I bet if limbaugh got mugged, they'd be all over it and would blame the left as well, even if it was just a random act of violence, as I believe the attack against Rhodes was. Even in times of trauma, progressives can't get fair media coverage.
Sorry if this is late, as I said, I just heard about this earlier today.

They may mention her on their shows. They know her well, as she's been a frequent guest. Brian Lamb may mention her on C-Span too.

I'm with you on the possibility that this is under investigation and they've purposely been quiet. Like when she received the anthrax letter (it was phony, like Olbermann), they kept Quiet until the FBI was done.

5. You MAY hear something today, but Stacy Taylor said this AM that

he was told about it on Sun. and asked if he would fill in for her. He said he just couldn't do that right now with all that was going on at KLSD, but he was also asked to keep the story quiet for now. Randi may have asked the rest of the MSM to keep a lid on it for a while too.

9. I had that same feeling that it was supposed to be kept quiet, and

that Jon Elliott talked about it accidentally. He was the only source. No corroborating statements.

There was a short note about Randi on the AAR blog (my post upthread), where they are still being very close tight lipped about it, saying very little. Dispelling the idea that it was a hate crime, and that she will be back on Thursday.

I think there's more to the story than they're telling. That's fine with me. Despite my curiosity, I want it handled properly and completely. I hope they are able to identify the attacker/s.

Glad to hear she wasn't attacked. She's coming back on Thurs (AAR).

Rhodes' lawyer told the Daily News she was injured in a fall while walking her dog. He said she's not sure what happened, and only knows that she fell down and is in a lot of pain. The lawyer said Rhodes expects to be back on the air Thursday. He stressed there is no indication she was targeted or that she was the victim of a "hate crime."

Randi Rhodes, the Air America radio host who began her talk-show career on South Florida's WIOD 610-AM, was injured Sunday night when she was assaulted near her apartment on Manhattan's East Side, according to other hosts, who discussed the incident Tuesday on their shows.

Rhodes, 48, was walking Simon, her Yorkshire terrier, when someone attacked her. She reportedly lost at least two teeth. It was unclear if Simon was injured.

Nicole Sandler of Miami's WINZ 940-AM and Stephanie Miller, whose Jones Radio Network show is carried by WINZ, reported that Rhodes was wearing sweats and wasn't wearing jewelry or carrying a purse.
