Sam Seder - Jon Elliott - Perfect Solution
So now it looks like Jon Elliott might have made a PERFECT ASS of himself over this Randi "incident"

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/2007/10/16/2007-10-16_air_america_host_randi_rhodes_wasnt_mugg.html

"Fellow host Jon Elliott claimed on the liberal radio network that Rhodes had been mugged while walking her dog, Simon, on Sunday night. Elliot, who said Rhodes lost several teeth in the attack, waxed about a possible conspiracy.

"Is this an attempt by the right-wing, hate machine to silence one of our own?" he asked on the air, according to Talking Radio, a blog. "Are we threatening them? Are they afraid that we’re winning? Are they trying to silence intimidate us?""

If this is true I say can Jon's sorry butt and give Sam back his five day per week show.

This really is kind of tongue in cheek - but really - if Randy wasn't attacked and Jon went on this rant he does look like a SUPER IDIOT....

2. Takes on a whole new meaning now, eh?
Not that the Right Wing is above anything of this sort, but when Randi didn't come out with a statement and the police had no idea what anyone was talking about, something was amiss.

Speculating can be fun, but wow, did he get this one wrong and everyone shouting about conspiracy's , well, that's just a "doh" moment.

3. I'm not going to blame Jon too much...
...in the confusion of that evening, he probably heard a rumor from some underling at AAR, and assumed they had checked it out.

And, as to replacing him with Seder...while I like Sam, Elliot's show is overnight in most markets, during one of the least-listened-to periods. I'm not sure Sam would want those hours.
