Apparently, Lionel (who filled in for her yesterday) didn't say anything. I don't think Rachel said anything either. Richard Greene, who's show follows Rachel's, didn't say anything either. I get the feeling - just MY feeling based on how this stories developed (don't want to add any more wood to the speculation bonfire) - that Jon Elliot said something out of turn and it was picked up by other talkers - who aren't employed by AAR, but whose shows air on AAR affliates.

As far as what really happened to Randi, I'm going to wait to hear from her. Although I've grown annoyed with her of late, I feel really bad that she has to deal with this. As if her injuries weren't bad enough, now she has to deal with the rumors and speculation that have exploded about their cause. Feel better, Randi.

It freaked me out a little yesterday when I turned on Randi's show and Lyonell was on (before any of us had heard that she was injured). I couldn't imagine Randi having Lyonell fill in for her. I thought maybe my station here (we don't have AAR) had replaced Randi's show. I went to over to Randi's web page and it said that she was under the weather and didn't think any more about it, content that my radio station didn't replace her.

I love Sam and miss his week-day show. I'm glad that it will be him subbing for Randi today. :)
