RE: PAT ROBERTSON: Frightening, because the print edition is different from the web editions I found

including that of the paper of origin:

http://www.dailypress.com/news/local/virginia/dp-robertsoncritic1011oct11,0,6681548.story

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,301314,00.html

The print edition of this story contains the following verbatim (unless in brackets) quotes that I CANNOT FIND ON ANY SITE.

The student, Adam M. Key, has been indefinitely suspended pending psychiactric evaluation. He was told in an e mail sent by Friday that "he was concerned about Keys' emotional well being. The students have reported, among other things, that you said you've brought a gun on campus, which is a violation of university policy." said he was being suspended until he could be evaluated by the university-approved mental health provider.

"I have never owned or carried a gun" said Keys.

Doesn't that kind of throw the whole thing into a different light, that the "University" is potentially smearing this kid with accusations of Columbine-like tendencies because he posted an "unflattering" picture of Pat Robertson on his website? Personally I am a little agahst at their reaction, but I am deeply disturbed that the part about the "mental health assessments" didn't make it on to the web.

edited to add: I finally found it here:

3. Robertson had a hissy fit and now the university
is trying to cover its collective arse. Yes, they're trying to swiftboat this kid. No, it's not going to work.

See his interview at http://www.abovethelaw.com/2007/10/regentgate_atls_exclusive_inte.php#more

Were I the dean of the Harvard Law School, I'd offer this kid a scholarship. He comes across as a very bright kid who has gotten the point as well as the shaft.
