3. I think the window of opportunity is over, though.

I honestly think that the American public was expecting some dramatic changes after the 2006 election, and that the new so-called "Democrat-controlled" Congress would mean real change... and so far what have they gotten?

and unfortunately, the Salon article has it right.


the fat lady (dennie the fat hastard) sang, the rooster (delay) and the newt who stole christmas have all come home and the democrats will rename their party the dumbocrats, in honor of the elephant.


our leaders blew it, and it is up to us to fix them, then fix the problem. A permanent vacation for Reid and Pelosi would be a good start.
