Feith on a frenetic tour-de-force of spin control: authors new OpEd in WaPo
Have you seen the Douglas Feith OpEd in the WaPo? This guy has been on a whirlwind spin cycle these past 2 days - I'd venture that the Admin is very, very worried about the Pentagon Inspector General's testimony before Congress...

Here's a link to the DU story. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=103x263016

1. I get the impression a lot of guys in the military would like to give him a tribunal
intel people at the Pentagon referred to him as the dumbest man alive.

3. But he just might be the most important guy in the Administration right now...
It's up to Feith to continuing covering for the lies he spun at the Office of Special Plans, as part of the masterplan to gin-up a casus belli for invading Iraq.

And the recent Pentagon Inspector General's report is turning up the heat - big time.

The neocon kitchen is getting really, really hot right about now. Feith assigned to put out fires.

5. OH! there doing "smack a mole" again! Get everybody mad at someone, then take him out of view
they did this once or twice with Rove (aint seen much of him for a while have you?) and Rummy. Focus all the hate on one person, then when you hide the person and don't mention them for a while, the anger magically diffuses.

6. I think it was an associate of Colin Powell's that said he
was the dumbest or stupidest man he ever met. Tommy Franks said that Feith was the "dumbest bastard, dumbest motherfucker on the face of the earth", according to the quote in Woodward's book, "State of Denial".
