This is a HUGE story. This story could blow the lid off these criminals...
http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/10/16/former-telcom-ceo-bushs-illegal-spying-began-months-before-911-attacks/

Bush was illegally spying BEFORE 9/11.

Why? On whom? For what reason?

Was he spying on potential terrorist operations inside the US and did nothing?

Was he spying on political opponents?

49. That makes me so mad!!!
When she was in front of the 9/11 comission (I loved watching her squirm.) I nearly had a heart attack when she said something to the effect of 'Oh, the title of that document was very ambiguous,..i think it was titled something like "TERRORISTS DETERMINED to ATTACK with PLANES in UNITED STATES." WTF?!!! You know it's so "ambiguous" I can hardly puzzle it out. (j/k) Moreover a terrorist attack in new york was on FEMA's (before bush fucked it up)list of ten most likely disasters to happen in the united states, incidentally, so was a major flood in New Orleans. The writing on the wall.. ::sighs::

They say everything changed after 9/11. I thought they were just preparing for 9/11. Just thinking ahead.

34. Look at our candidates that signed that document.
Its sad to say but the same people that voted yes and enabled Bush to go to war, voted yes on that pre-packaged document. Just think, it looks like we will be electing one of those same people, what the hell is wrong with Americans that we support people who have made these horrible decisions and we belittle the ones who were against both measures...Dennis Kucinich.

Biden, Clinton, Dodd and Edwards all voted yes to both the war and the patriot act. Scary that so many people that call themselves democrats, vote for people that don't represent the best interest of the people. If we continue to support these same people in the primaries, I'm sure we will see what else they have ready to go. Scary shit!

43. Yep, all they needed was a "catalyzing event" as PNAC and Brezizinski
iterated in their respective works. Brezi's book "The Grand Chessboard" and the 1997 PNAC paper both call for "Pearl Harbor" like attack to kick start their fascist dictatorship.

The last 7 years has seen to many impeachable offenses that the media and much of the public has escaped to things that they can process - Britney's nasty little life and tragic issues, reality shows - all that real important stuff. Scandal? Real news? Fuggedaboudit.

26. Man, my opinion of Pelosi is plummeting - I hope I hear more of both sides
and SOMETHING rescues her from my opinion. I don't think a person is a patriot if they don't break the secrecy and do something. If this is true, the right wing neo-con pnac barons must be pleased with her.

I admit I have not been able to follow this carefully - if there is an explanation anywhere, I'd like to learn about it.

20. They wanted to be informed about progress towards the 9/11 trigger event. LIHOP.
It is not beyond the realm of possibility that spying picked up warnings of 9/11 and these were monitored for the event and eventual roll out of the PNAC/Neocon plan. They wanted a "Pearl Harbor-like event," so maybe they decided to spy to see if one was in the planning so they could coordinate things like the Unitary President push and the Patriot Act?

... we haven't caught Osama Bin Laden, and the anthrax case is still officially unsolved. Meanwhile, we're going to invade Iran using virtually the same playbook that we used to illegally invade Iraq. And no one seems to care. The days of "huge" are dead and gone.

(unless, of course, there's a sex scandal that involves a Democrat and an intern.)
