The Stepford Republicans

That headline is one of the few explanations for elected Republicans because they sure as hell aren’t what most of us consider to be human beings. All they seem to have in common with our species are their sex drives which compel them to seduce anything from congressional pages, to undercover cops in men’s rooms, to unwilling subordinates, to … well, take your pick. Beyond that, they have little use for anyone who has made it past the fetus stage.

I also can’t understand the zombies who vote for them. What kind of a person would go along with depriving children of medical care? Who would constantly vote against their own interests? Who can ignore the pure viciousness and inhumane practices of the current Republican Party? What sane being would believe lies that even Forrest Gump would be able to see through?

And let’s not leave out the fundies. There are billions of religious people in this world and, unlike Stepford Republicans and their zombie followers, the majority of them try to live by their benevolent beliefs. Who the hell would listen to vile sermons of hatred and venom and believe that these were the values of whichever creator they happened to believe in?

But probably the worst of all are the greedy and powerful. I suppose that when personal profit and power are put above everything else, then it doesn’t matter how much death, torture, starvation, or pure misery exists in the world. Perhaps the one person who best describes this particular type of creature is Dick Cheney.

Well, that’s just about the end of this rant. And for anyone who doesn’t agree with “The Stepford Republicans” scenario, the alternative is people who have been taken over by the pods from “Invasion of the Body Snatchers.”

who vote for the repukes have no sense of identity, no self worth, no ideas and most certainly cannot think for themselves. I personally cannot comprehend the all consuming hate that fills their hearts and souls. They live in an alternate reality.

My fiancee works with one such zombie. My nickname for her is the twilight zone lady. She's a much older lady, I would say in her 70's maybe early 80's. All she does is listen to hannity, rush limbaugh and those republican hate machines. He dislikes being around her and avoids her as much as possible. The point is , she thinks she is so smart but cannot comprehend anything having to do with common sense and simple task but she is constantly trying to let my SO know how he is not in the "know" and she is also racist, not a surprise.
