I've decided I will continue to support him. I believe in this man and his vision. He looks to the future and his articulation of the problems we face as a nation is sincere and well thought out. He came to our little group of villages and the local Dem coordinator was anxious that not many people would show up. The barn we met in was filled to capacity, with many people standing. Many people I know to have voted R in the past 2 elections were there and applauding him openly. Several of them stood up and asked really good questions about the war, Social Security, the economy, education, and health care. He gave many excellent answers, and many of those old Republican farmers told him they would caucus for him and wanted him to be president. One of them nodded my way, tipped the bill of his hat, and said to me, "John Kennedy stopped here. Now Barack is stopping here."
Yes, this man will go far because he knows that he must go to the people to succeed. We need such a leader now. And he has my vote. In the caucus and in the general election. I will write his name in then regardless.
