America needs a Time Out.

We really need a break from all this international intrigue..

Our infrastructure is shot to hell...nothing's being maintained.

Our manufacturing base is gone-baby-gone

We need a serious time out to re-assess what needs doing, then get to DOING it..no matter WHAT it costs..

I sincerely hope that our next president starts looking a little more inward for a while.

Decades of predatory privatization has about done in this place.

It's not an accident that every generation tends to look back and say.."Those were the days".. Progress, in terms of buying toxin-laden plastic Chinese trinkets, and spending into oblivion seems to be not so much fun anymore..

It's way past time, that our own country gets a little TLC..

2. If a Dem candidate wants a sure-fire way to get my primary vote, all they

need to do is say:

"I won't run for re-election. This country needs some tough love and it's gonna piss off a lot of people, so I'll do my best and then I'm outta here..."

Whoever said "cool heads will prevail" never saw our system in action. Getting paid off is our national pastime. Integrity is out of fashion and will be a long time returning.
