Senate and Bush Agree On Terms of Spying Bill: Immunity granted

Senate Democrats and Republicans reached agreement with the Bush administration yesterday on the terms of new legislation to control the federal government's domestic surveillance program, which includes a highly controversial grant of legal immunity to telecommunications companies that have assisted the program, according to congressional sources.

What if they can show that the pResident's directives weren't legal?

7. Actually, it is.
The IG, Glenn Fine, is the one investigating Gonzales and admin actions. And btw he was appointed by Clinton. He's the reason gonzo has hired a defense attny.

How many democrats are Telecommunications stock holders? How many get campaign money from the firms that were spying on you and me?
