Young Jeb Bush, son of former Florida Gov. John Ellis Bush, has joined the Giuliani campaign in the Sunshine State, the campaign says today.

Bush, whose name is actually Jeb, is the youngest son of the recently retired two-term governor and younger brother of President Bush. The ex-governor himself has dispatched many of his closest allies to Mitt Romney's campaign, but refrained from his own endorsement.

The young Bush -- among the fourth generation of a family with a legacy of involvement in politics -- has joined Florida Young Professionals for Rudy.

“As someone who grew up around politics and candidates, I know that Rudy has the leadership qualities and unmatched experience to be the next President of the United States,'' the former governor's son and grandson of a former president is quoted as saying. "I’m honored to join his campaign and look forward to working with the many young professionals throughout Florida supporting the mayor.''

This is reminiscent of such a move, like the King giving his daughter in marriage.

Will all the might and evil power of the Imperial Bushies and their Loyal Bushie Felons now coalesce behind Rudy (now that they have been "instructed" on who is to be chosen), who will suddenly start runing away with it?

It's difficult not to look at the things the Imperial Family does in the same way as the people who started modern Bushism, which is to say Feudal Monarchy.

But ultimately, it is just a guess. This is just the kind of subtle message the Imperial Family would send, though.

One of President George W. Bush's nephews, Jeb (Little Jebby) Bush, was arrested early today and charged with public drunkenness and resisting arrest. John Ellis Bush, 21, was nabbed at 2:30 AM by Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission agents in Austin (Jeb Jr.'s street corner arrest came in one of the capital's popular bar districts). According to the arrest warrant, filed with the Travis County Municipal Court, an intoxicated Bush, "continually pushed against this officer and struggled as I attempted to handcuff him." After about four hours in custody, Bush was released on $2500 bond for the resisting count (the intox charge was covered by a personal recognizance bond).

This is the second time young Jeb has landed on a police blotter. In October 2000, Jeb, then 16, and a girlfriend were discovered naked from the waist down in a Jeep Cherokee parked at a Tallahassee mall
