Edited on Thu Oct-18-07 08:14 PM by NNN0LHI
I used to think he was a conservative Republican. I don't think that any more. I have gained a lot of respect for Mr. Abrams recently.

His show on torture tonight was excellent.

3. He certainly did used to be a tool but
I think that, as News Manager for MSNBC, he's decided to extend the "edge" provided MSNBC by Keith Olbermann.

4. I am willing to extend the benefit of the doubt.. . . .
Perhaps, just perhaps, what he learned from the work that Keith O. has been doing, the solid journalism, has influenced both his methods and his perspective. I choose to believe that he's discovered his better self, rather than just a ratings boost, until I am given evidence to the contrary.

7. I'm still pissed about his Schuster slap down, but his
blatant disdain for Cliff May is helping me get over that.

9. Since his dad
is the most prominent First Amendment attorney in the US and he grew up in suburban NY, went to Columbia Law, etc, the odds are he ain't a conservative.

11. I suspect that Abrahms is a Moderate Conservative.
He seems real. He is an Attorney that believes in the US Constitution.

He's kinda embarrassed himself on that one.

14. waterboarding looked like torture to me.
and how would you define torture

isn't it cruel and inhuman treatment of a human being resulting in pain and or death, that is my own definition.

17. Torture is inflicting physical &/or mental pain &/or suffering on
a human being &/or non-human being. Water boarding is Torture. Anyone that claims that it is not needs to experience it then define it. For the AG candidate refusing to answer whether it is or not should disqualify him for the AG position.
