8. What A Revisionist

So Ladeen thinks things in Iran were fine and rosy prior to 1979? He fails to look at the money and arms Nixon and Kissinger gave the Shah that created the conditions that led to the Revolution. Of course he is clueless of the culture and history of these people and lumps them in with "Islamic Radicals" as if its some centralized effort.

Most telling is how often he uses the word "I"...fully self-absorbed and detached from reality. He tried to say he was one of the few who saw how "bad" Khomeni was in the run-up to the revolution and how the CIA failed. Anyone paying attention at the time sure as hell knew who Khomeni was long before he marched into Teheran...there was endless coverage of his in the run-up to that revolution.

Typical AEI parallel universe crap that C-SPAN just loves to promote.
