Tanker Was Hauling Heating Fuel

BALTIMORE -- Baltimore police are searching for a stolen tanker truck taken at gunpoint from a gas station in the city's Curtis Bay neighborhood.

Police spokesman Sterling Clifford said the driver of a Baltimore Tank Lines truck was fueling the tractor-trailer at about 3:30 a.m. Friday in the 3100 block of Vera Street, near Interstate 895.

After he got back in the truck, police said a man in a blue jumpsuit confronted him with a semi-automatic handgun and forced him out.

Police said the truck's driver escaped and the man drove off with the dark cherry red 1997 Peterbilt truck and silver tanker. Both are clearly marked with Baltimore Tank Lines logos. Clifford said the tanker, which was hauling heating fuel, was last seen heading toward Interstate 95.

1. It's Terra!!!
That hijacker is obviously taking the heating fuel to blow up the White House. We need to give Bush more surveillance authority right now! :sarcasm:

3. How in the Hell can the cops lose a
dark cherry red 1997 Peterbilt truck and silver tanker that is clearly marked with Baltimore Tank Lines logos, when the hijacking was called in immediately?

6. I saw that on the Baltimore Sun when I checked it out this morning
I am a former Marylander. They showed a picture of a woman the other day who had to pay 510 dollars for HALF a tank of fuel oil. And she said it took half her social security check. How can this woman now pay rent and live. This president and his money stealer's are monsters. And they should be treated as such.
