Who the hell is Howard Fineman, anyway?

OK, I know who he is (Newsweek).

He comes on Hardball and Olberman everyday spewing his latest pop political science nonsense, which seems to sound remarkably like the latest "conventional wisdom" talking points on all of the eastern newspaper/newsmagazine editorial pages. I wonder how much of what he is saying is just the latest BS from the most recent Georgetown cocktail party.

1. he's my least favorite Olbermann guest -- seems way too pleased with himself

and has little to offer in the way of opening up debate. pat answers seem very out of place with Olbermann's not-so-pat questions.
