19. While I applaud SM for going on these shows, it's apparent to me

that they deliberately put progressives/liberals on , who are not particularly serious, and yet the opposition is serious as a heart attack.

Paul Krugman has said he would go anywhere any time to debate these freaks..as would Chomsky or Zinn or Phil Donahue or Michael Moore or any number of people with some gravitas..

I love SM, but she's perceived as a comedienne/talk-show host , and anything she says is automatically tied to that aspect of who she is.

NONE of the "screaming head" shows really want serious debate...

all they want is "pizzazz" and excitement.. and after all is said and done, there are no real truths told or acknowledged.. It's left up to the viewer to "decide"..and of course they have heard nothing that would change theior mind, so it's all for nothing..except to sell some viagra and fill an hour..

when they do it, the M$M ignores it. when dems try to talk about similar outrages, they're derided by BOTH the pugs and the media. as a result, whatever is said, done (in all but the most egregious, unignorable cases), dems are beaten back, and the the subject at hand is soon forgotten

on the other hand, when Stark, for example, says something like he did, BOTH the M$M and pugs tag team it, blow it way out of proportion (perhaps for different reasons), allowing the subject to be changed, and ALWAYS keeping dems on the defensive
