Clyburn declines to apologize for Stark’s remarks

Pressed by Blitzer, Clyburn said, “I’m responsible for my actions. He’s responsible for his actions. I would not use those words, but Pete Stark is Pete Stark.”

Appearing with Clyburn on the show, House Republican Conference Chairman Adam Putnam (R-Fla.) said that Clyburn “should demand that he apologize.”

When Clyburn repeated that he is not to blame for Stark’s remarks, Putnam responded, “Fairly or unfairly, party leadership ends up being responsible for the actions of their members.”

Clyburn countered, “I don’t think you’re responsible for some of the comments I have heard some of your members (make).”

No, I don't suppose Putnam (R-Fla.) is ready to apologized for these despicable characters.

Good for Clyburn!

1. In a way he did apologize
By distancing himself from them.
Putnams bullshit question should have been laughed at in the first place.
Rather than saying "I would not use those words, but Pete Stark is Pete Stark."
He could laughed a dick breath and told him to go fuck himself.

Instead, he acted like he was ashamed to be associated with Rep, Stark
and somehow he's a crazy old man.
Way to support you friends Clyburn.
If he didnt have the guts to tell Putnam to go fuck himself,
he could have just said No and left it at that.
Fucking pussies!

3. Oh calm down!
Clyburn did well if all you have to be outraged about is semantics.

4. I just wish he would not try to distance himself, not try to run, not cower, not shirk, not flee.
Stand and fight for what is so obviously fucking right. Stand by your Democratic colleague for what is so obviously fucking right. If they would do just this, the media criminals would retreat an inch, and that inch is all we need. But instead we get this shit.

THAT IS WHY I CANNOT CALM DOWN!
