Poll question: Do you support our leadership in Congress today?
Edited on Fri Oct-19-07 06:04 PM by Zodiak Ironfist
There are two main stories regarding our Democratic leadership today, the story with Representative Stark and the story with Dodd and his attempt to put a hold on the odious FISA bill.

Concerning the Stark issue, Pelosi did not stand behind him, calling his remarks distracting and inappropriate.

Concernign the Dodd issue, news has come out that Harry Reid intends to ignore Starks hold entirely, even though Reid honors all Republican holds.

So who here thinks that these actions are defensible or forgiveable and who here doesn't?

3. This is why the notion exists that Democrats stand for nothing.
Because fellow Democratic bastards stab other Democrats in the back when it comes time to fight.

4. That's what I see a lot
Someone makes a principled stand and a certain cadre in our party would rather put that person down than make a stand. This, of course, only helps the Republicans.

And it happens over, and over, and over again.
