Ron Paul R-TX Rocking the House!
My god - a man of principle!! He's reading both sides the riot act.

"a war on terror is like declaring a war on gangsterism' "It's a tactic, you can't declare war on a tactic!'

3. Yup.
Said that everyone knows it is just a matter of time before the war is defunded and the troops will be bought home, so why not bring them home now.

Marsha Blackburn up trying to talk out of both sides of her mouth. My lord, she's a piece of work. Sez that * is saying to change the course and those who disagree are refusing.

4. Ron Paul has also done the only floor speech on PNAC. Even though
he is Republican, he knows exactly what the Sociopath is up to and is very vocal about it.

Did you know that Ron Paul is running for President? MSM won't acknowledge him.

6. He was great, as usual. Walter Jones was too.
I wonder what their lives are like behind the closed doors of the Capitol building?

19. yeah and so was Coble of Greensboro area NC
He said "we were inept" in managing the war --cited troop morale and the cost to taxpayers, the practical considerations.

Jones and Coble are responding to the military opinion IMO.

13. Some of what Duncan was saying........here!
Schooling members of his own party on the traditions of conservatism...against interventionist foreign policy.

Calling out defense contractors - "The gravy train is over."

Calling to bring troops home now.

17. "We have no reason to kill any more Iraqis"
was the quote that stood out for me from Ron Paul. Then he said 'stop the carnage and the financial bleeding.'

It's sad there are so few ethical Republicans in congress. But there are a few like Paul who at least sound like they might be sane. They see the writing on the wall, as opposed to being delusional.

27. Very moving closing comments from Walter Jones. Wow.
Recounting a visit to Walter Reed Hospital. I won't attempt to paraphrase his words here -- I couldn't do it justice -- so look for his quotes later if you missed them.
