Ron Paul on SCHIP
He may be right on the illegal occupation and the USA Fascist Act, but he's flat wrong on SCHIP.

His vote on the bill itself: http://www.vote-smart.org/issue_keyvote_member.php?cs_id=15930

His vote on the override: http://www.vote-smart.org/issue_keyvote_member.php?cs_id=16062

Both times voted NAY.

1. To the people who think Ron Paul is great i suggest they take a look at his voting record.

It is absolutely mindblowing all of the support he is getting right now - and quite a bit of it from people who consider themselves "liberals" or "democrats" or people who usually vote for democrats. Have they not once bothered to look at the man's voting record? I think it can be said that a lot(if not most!) of the people who support Ron Paul don't realize exactly who Ron Paul is. I've found this to be particularly true in young folks.

View his voting record here: http://www.issues2000.org/TX/Ron_Paul.htm

2. Paul is right on the War and wrong with every other position he holds. He's a
bigoted racist asshole that's anti-choice and is all about hurray for me and fuck you. He lives in some mythical world of that rugged individualism crap that was sold to us by really bad (mostly) Hollywood cowboy movies. The real west was a story of tough people, for sure, but it was also a story of community as much as anything. But the rugged community didn't stand up so well against the communist scare so we needed something else.I am so sick and tired of political neophytes that think Paul is some kind of fucking saviour because he's a republican that's adamantly against the war and knows what the constitution is.

3. All I know is...for those of you who want universal health care...he's AGAINST IT.
I saw him in a video clip a while back saying..."the market place was the way to go to bring health care to the people." (Not an exact quote, but words to that effect.)
