If you live in Florida, will you vote in the Democratic primary in January?
If Florida holds fast to its early primary, and the DLC holds fast to its decision not to allow Florida delegates to cast their votes at the convention, will you still vote? It looks like it would just be a meaningless straw poll. Just curious, how many Florida DUers are still planning to vote in the primary, and why or why not. At this point, I'm still undecided, but leaning towards voting anyways.

1. Yes
I can't imagine not voting in a scheduled election. Delegates or no delegates, I'm voting.

2. There will other issues on the ballot
It's not the only issue on the ballot. Potentially there will be a large tax issue as well. And there will be local elections to handle. Most folks don't know this but the GOP legislature is behind this mess. They moved the date. For the dems to do anything else would require that they run an independent (and pay for it) election. So yeah, I'll be voting, and since I'm there I'll fill out the primary section as well. Although typically by the time things get to Florida the race is over. I suspect it will be thus this year as well, regardless of the date.

3. I'll be voting.
If nothing else, to express my preference. And some tax issues.

And knock off that "Republican legislature did it to us shit". The Dems in the legislature, and the FDP were every bit as complicit in it as the pukes.

6. I certainly will, because....
There will be other items on the same ballot. My Dem primary vote might be little more than a straw poll but I NEVER refuse to offer up my opinion.

7. Yes
First off, I'm not sure if it was a typo, but the DNC (not the DLC) is behind the decision to strip delegates. Florida knew what they were doing by leapfrogging South Carolina. I'm not saying the primary system is perfect, but they did make some changes to allow a few more states to have say (Nevada and South Carolina). It was actually the GOP legislature that voted for this new primary date. But for some reason, the FL Dems have become complicit.

I'll cast my vote likely for Obama. We're finding out that a lot of FL Democrats are "DINO's", evidenced by the fact that some are going to register GOP to vote Giuliani. This situation has become an unmitigated disaster. It probably puts FL into the Repub column in November.

I'm getting quite used to the fact that Florida has become a rogue state, that can't have an election without huge controversy.

13. Yes, Voting in Florida is always a 'what the hell" maybe it will count
kinda thing anyway. So, yes, I will definitely exercise my right to vote. I don't want to get rusty, just in case someday my vote might be considered a sure thing.

14. Yes, I will still vote
There are other things I want to vote on. If nothing else, we will at least have a voice that allows us to say "We want this person!" even if it doesn't count.

(And no, I'm not switching to Republican to vote for Satan. I was angry when I said that.)
