I have a message to all political parties and candidates for national office.

Get this loud and clear. My family and I have not asked any one soul to wage war and to kill other humans on this planet. We do ask that you wage peace. How's that for a novel idea. We ask that you reach out and seek common cause with other humans on the planet. We all bleed red. We all suffer hunger and thirst and need shelter. We all have fears and longings and a need for love and kindness. More war will not make peace possible. It will create new wars which will add to the the mound of grievances from all previous wars. All the wars you trick the people into fighting while their lands, livelihoods, and freedoms are stolen by the powerful. Wage peace, and you have my vote. Wage peace, and you have my support. Continue the bloodshed and saber rattling and you have my contempt.

Preemptive and/or preventative war is ALWAYS ILLEGAL - according to international law, and, hence, OUR law.

Neither the U.S., or any other country, has the right to invade and/or bomb another sovereign nation because of what they MIGHT do.

It's the 21st century - we MUST move beyond the 'bloodshed and saber-rattling,' like you said.

4. I'm with you!! I am not going to vote or otherwise support ANYONE

who continues to support this war or any other. Aren't we supposed to be an intelligent species that can come to peaceful solutions to our problems?

We are better than this. We can DO better than what we are doing now.
