Under the age of 7, Catholic kids are considered unable to commit sin. And I left the Catholic Church years ago because I thought it was too authoritarian.

The bullying adults are the ones playing the games at the expense of kids too young to know better--only because they have the power to do so. 8. When I read this story - and then heard it again on MSNBC - I was screaming

Stomping around the house, alarming the cat and the dog. The dog went and hid. The cat looked at me with what, even for her, was extreme disdain. My wife asked what I was fuming about and then joined me. Not in the screaming part but in the head nodding at least.

I think the huggee ought to be charged with hugger abuse (if we're going to go all crazy about this).
