4. Ah the radio mess is about to start
long story, but I hope they don't mind getting dispatched by the Red Cross in Tijuana

;-)

And quite brutally honest this is now not a level three disaster (aide from all around the country) but actually it is reaching level four...
due to the level of people evacuated

5. That depends on if San Diego voted for Dems or Repubs.
Mississippi voted for Rs, and we here in Mississippi got more help than our friends in Louisiana, who voted for Ds, but they've gone and elected an R governor now. Relatively speaking, it wasn't much more help, and it wasn't enough for reconstruction, but it was enough that Haley Barbour wasn't blamed for all the deaths on the Mississippi coast the same way Blanco was blamed.

regarding the disaster

and mark my words, he just started his run for the Senate in 2010... but

He is doing what a governor has to do in a disaster

I will give him that.

and having worked disasters as a Mexican Red Cross worker... you kiss ass when the feds show up and you need help

You kiss lots of ass

It goes wih the damn territory

7. Oh, dear God, I just saw Skeletor on the tv
I'm in the OC, but I used to live in San Diego. I don't believe that we need any Bush interference in our fire problems here. Skeletor, please go away.
