The Democratic Party will apologize itself into oblivion.
This has gotten absolutely obscene. I don't care if you agree with Stark or not, every time we demand apologies from heroic people who have the courage to stand up to BushCo we push ourselves that much closer to the brink.

Don't the apology-demanders understand this? Calling for everyone to be polite in a time of war is ludicrous, because the "enemy" will never be polite, and all we wind up doing is giving them an increasingly valid argument that "DEMOCRATS ARE WEAK!" How can we deny that? We back down EVERY TIME. Every single time, about even the most trivial of matters.

WE ARE WEAK. At least, our leadership has allowed us to be labeled as such, and there is nothing, absolutely nothing we can do to counter it because they've simply stopped listening to their constituents. I've been of the mind that the national disgust with the Republicans is so severe that we couldn't possible lose the next election, but I'm beginning to wonder. Now more than I ever I think we're poised to snatch presidential defeat from the jaws of near-certain victory.

Will we finally demand an apology from Pelosi and Reid? Or will the apology-apologists say that that would be just too mean?

Signed,
Fed Up and Disgusted in America.

1. I am all for apologizing
if one does or says something wrong (in or out of politics) but Stark didn't say or do anything wrong or inaccurate. He told the truth and thats the last thing conservatives want floating around the airwaves, the truth.

In the words of that great Statesman Adlai Stevenson:

- "I'll stop telling the truth about republicans when they stop lying about democrats." Christ, they were doing it pre-limbaugh.
