Breaking: President Bush declares new US motto: "Money trumps Peace".
Today, President Bush chose to announce the new US motto that will be placed on the mint's newest one dollar coins. He announced the winning motto during a press conference at 11AM EST.

Close runner-up to replace 'E pluribus unum' ("From many, one") was the VP Dick Cheney's favorite, "All the oil is ours".

4. I heard him say that and wondered what the last word would be
I was waiting to hear "everything" because that's more truthful.

And this is why Americans are dying.

6. "Four score and a hundred and fifty years ago...Our forefathers made us equal as long as we can pay"
"Yeah, well maybe that wasn't exactly what they was thinkin'
Version six-point-o of the American way

But hey we can just build a great wall
Around the country club
To keep the riff-raff out until the slump is through
I realize that ain't exactly democratic
But it's either them or us
And it's the best we can do."

7. I'm gonna go out on a limb here
And take a stab at what I think, he possibly meant. This of course, assumes HE knew what he meant, which is quite a leap, but then, whatever.

My take is that he's pissed that Russia and China won't join in the sanctions against Iran since they have decided to do business deals with them for energy instead of blowing them the fuck up.

Accordingly, Bush says that 'money' (read: trade) comes ahead of 'peace'(he really means 'war' here).

And of course, the thought that people can peacefully trade to acquire their energy needs and that gets in the way of his hard on to blow up another Middle East country is, of course, just despicable.

Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?
