Dumbass bush** supporter story thread
I work with a guy, he's the head of the production dept., and he was telling EVERYBODY last week that he learned that the word Hamas is taken from the Spanish language and it means 'never', as in once you're 'in' you can never get out.

I finally had to tell his that Hamas is Arabic for zeal and members of Hamas are 'zealots'. And that there was NO DAMN 'H' IN THE SPANISH LANGUAGE.

You would not believe the people I work with.

13. Oh, if I'm wrong I don't care, I deserve it. But I wonder now where
Gerardo really comes from. (Not really, he's brought in pictures of Cali, and I have to say that it is honestly a BEAUTIFUL place.)

Just funnin' ya! :)

And yes, your resident "Hamas Expert" seems to be quite the dumbass.
I do not envy your having to work with such a person.

4. Don't know. I was just told that by Gerardo a few days
Edited on Wed Oct-24-07 01:36 PM by acmavm
ago. He's from Columbia and his accent is so thick he's barely understandable. But I do take his word for that fact. He oughta know.

edit: I screwed up where he comes from. He comes from Cali, the infamous drug cartel city. He will not even admit that shit goes on down there. He's really funny.

9. True. Now I have to tell Gerardo, one of our technical engineers
that he's full of it. But it'll have to wait for Monday when he gets back from vacation. He maintains two houses. One here, one there.

22. I learned
"ho-tah," or better yet "cho-tah," except not with a "ch" sound like "church," but with that (I call it "Phlegmish") sound like in "Chanukka."
