Paso Robles Post Office again posts photos of local troops
Paso Robles Post Office again posts photos of local troops
Community furor arose after the display was removed when it was called pro-war

Photos of military personnel went back up on a wall at the Paso Robles post office on Monday, under an order from the nation’s deputy postmaster general.

Several dozen photos of troops serving abroad, many submitted by friends and relatives who are customers of the Paso Robles post office, were taken down Friday after a customer complained that the display was pro-war.

When the issue came to the attention of officials at the regional postal center, they asked that Paso Robles Postmaster Mike Milby and his staff take them down, saying the photos violated a regulation against displays of nonpostal business material.

The photos had been up for more than three years.

The Paso Robles post office received the news Monday morning that they could replace the photos, Milby said.

1. No rules in Bushland
They can make them up as they go, and change the ones they don't like without any problems. I'm sure that now we'll all be seeing the photos of troops in post offices, because the whackjobs will now insist that if Paso Robles can do it, why can't they.

By the way, for those here that supported the photos, the next time Bush puts a signing statement on a law passed by congress, don't raise a stink about it, because this incident shows that you have no clue.
