Thank you sports fans. What would we do without you? Because of you we have stadiums that can be used as evacuation points for victims of disasters. In New Orleans, it was the Superdome. In Houston, it was the Astrodome. And now, in San Diego, it is QUALCOMM stadium.

Not only that but, because of sports fans, we have stadiums/arenas/domes that are used for benefit concerts for victims of natural disasters.

So, thank you for attending the sporting events in your local stadium/arena/dome. You provide a useful community service that rarely gets recognized and much less appreciated.
