Does bunker buster technology actually work?

I mean, I've heard about the concept, but have there been any tests at any level of any kind that prove that this type of bomb is either feasible or desirable?

3. TI built a couple of units.

Basically a really big cannon barrel with a bullet. The cannon burries itself deep in the ground and then fires the shell deeper. Supposed to penetrate 150 feet.

It's like the fence between us and Mexico. 12' fence = 13' ladder. 150' penetration = 200' bunker.

Ya' can't win that one . . .
