2. Thanks for the sentiment!
I am now so punchy that I am hysterically laughing at everything. I am literally hiding behind crazy laughter.

17. Nobody can blame you for that
That is a healthy, natural response to chaos, insanity, absurdity and being completely overwhelmed.

Like many others, you have probably been up for four days, and sleep deprivation certainly has a way of contributing to those feelings of losing one's mind.

3. Your lungs thank you
Maybe you are better off, skipping yoga in this desultory air quality.

Or, you can go into a room in your house/apt, close the door and do yoga for yourself. Probably less stressful than in a class atmosphere.

5. True.
My wish is for the reptile rethugs to totally keep their mouths shut during all crisis and emergency situations.

I am so embarrassed to call the Gropenator our governor, after that "Californians are happy" bullshit last night.

6. I guess that duct tape and plastic may come in handy?
Seal yourself in a room and do yoga?

30. "Seal" was the wrong word
I always "seal" my door because my dog comes in and bumps me when I'm in headstand or shoulderstand. How about "close" the door and do yoga? Or, hell, leave the door open.

31. "twas a joke. Here's another...
Keep doing yoga so you are flexible enough to reach that canned tuna and dried milk stored under your bed.

I know, neither is very funny. Oh well.

34. I believe in being prepared, have food way beyond "tuna & dried milk"
Living in earthquake, flood, fire, hurricane, tornado, snow, ice, etc country, people should have an emergency kit. Homelandsecurity's advice of ductape/plastic and tuna/dried milk is only a start and no, won't protect you against everything forever, hence joking about them. And why did they say I had to keep the tuna/dried milk under my bed?

Edited on Wed Oct-24-07 06:17 PM by Mike03
You really got me. Well, to your credit, I'm the kind of person who might well have used the word "sealed." Otherwise, I would have checked my post before now.

Are you psychic or something.

I should have used the words "seal with duct tape."

Don't forget to tack on the attorney's fees either.

If nothing else he owes you that for having to put up with him as The Governator. :P

13. You've suffered under both The Governator and The Governing Body?!
There has to be some kind of cruel and inhumane punishment lawsuit in that someplace.

If not, you can always save it for if you ever go off. You've got the makings of a perfect insanity defense.

That everything was fine...they had yoga classes in the evac shelters. Thank you, Governor, for supporting my stereotype of Californians. Food, water, shelter,....and yoga. All the essentials!
