I need a good google map of where the Witch fire and
Harris fire are today. Thank you! I can't find it on google yet.

But I wonder if the Space Shuttle that was launched yesterday has any pics of SoCal. They could probably get some good ones if they tried. I think their website is somewhere in www.nasa.gov.

No maps that I can find on the site yet, but it gives pretty current information on each fire: http://inciweb.org/state/5/

On Edit: There's actually a whole heading for maps on the page... d'oh! :blush:

11. Hey everyone!!! I am sending some of these links to my friend
who lives in SD but is vacationing in the eastern hemisphere. She and her husband left before the fires started, and they have been incommunicado for awhile until they heard about the fires on the local world news.

Go to Google maps and put in "San Diego Fire". You will get a beautiful map with everything on it, but it takes awhile to load even with broadband.
