1. In fairness, only some of CT re-elected Lieberman.
It's similar to the blue-state/red-state argument. A state is declared "red" if it went for Bush in '04, even if the margin was 50/49. In that instance, of course, nearly half the state voted against the idiot, but they still get blamed for it.

2. No "we" didn't
The REPUBLICANS of CT elected him after the democrats removed him. CT is a mostly-Republican state. WTF do you want from us? We followed the rules, even if Joe didn't. You're kindly welcome to direct your misguided, ill-thought-out opinion of CT residents to yourself. WE hate the fucker, too.

6. CT is not a mostly republican state, but I don't blame CT for Joe being in congress

It wasn't solely Republicans who voted for Lieberman either, if it was he would have lost, but lots of Independents and yes, a quarter of democrats also voted for him over Lamont in the general election. What doomed Lamont is that the GOP was smart enough not to field a strong candidate and unfortunately Lamont ran a pretty lousy campaign after the primary.

3. Direct you anger at Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer who refused to fully back Lamont
They told Lamont to not attack Lieberman because they were trying to talk Lieberman into dropping his third party general election campaign. They also gave Lieberman a standing ovation when he returned to the senate after winning reelection.

4. Wow. Back off of the good people of CT. The Publican sleaze machine

was in full force for that election and HoJo is King of Sleaze. Don't forget Ned kicked his ass in the primary, so don't blame voters. Lieberman will get his. It's karma.

Nedrenaline!!
