OK, let me get this straight.

The leading Democratic presidential candidates now acknowledge that the Iraq quagmire is SUCH a huge fiasco that it could take years for us to untangle ourselves from that mess.

And the Republicans are using that as a reason why we should vote for MORE Republican leadership?

I heard that on the radio this morning. Bill "The Gambler" Bennett said that, because the Democrats can't promise a quick end to the Iraqi occupation, people should vote for Republicans -- who don't want to change the failed and discredited policies that got us into Iraq in the first place.

GOPers live in a topsy-turvy, upside-down world.

Personally, I'd rather vote for a Democrat -- who would look for a way out of Iraq-- rather then a Republican-- who would look for ways to keep the fiasco going.

Wow. What an idiot. Then again, when you've already lost all credibility, it must be pretty easy to say stuff like that.

Might as well go with crazy; there seems to be a hard-core, rock-ribbed constituency out there for that.

9. Bill Bennett seems to be practicing P.T. Barnum politics where he believes
...there is a sucker born every minute and thus if he can convince enough voting suckers that is all that matters. Bill Bennett is a babbling idiot and is totally incapable of an original meaningful thought.

13. Valid Question: Why does our illustrious M$M continue to give "The Bookie of Virtue" a platform?
Oh, that's right - all that matters with our Corporate Owned media is both endless wars and endless profits for the investor classes. Silly me. :eyes:

14. A Cleveland RW blowhole, a few years back, gave the most amazing
contradiction ... briefly coming to terms with reality.

Talking about the re-election run of Governor Bob Taft, he said that, if someone came to you after totally screwing up his job for four years and says, "Give me four more years, I'll fix what I screwed up ...", would you re-hire him? ???

Of course, he decided that Bush was doing such a fine job, that he pushed for re-hiring the idiot who is totally screwing up the country, in 2004.
