Iranian nukes little threat to Israel says foreign minister and a former Mossad chief
The Israeli government seems to be better at math than our "leaders" in Washington.

2-400 Israeli nukes mean it would suicidal for Iran to ever nuke Israel.

The US has 10,000, but you would never know that from how politicians in DC wet themselves about every tiny country getting a handful (especially when that country has something pols want to give to a campaign donor).

Livni behind closed doors: Iranian nuclear arms pose little threat to Israel

By Gidi Weitz and Na'ama Lanski

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said a few months ago in a series of closed discussions that in her opinion that Iranian nuclear weapons do not pose an existential threat to Israel, Haaretz magazine reveals in an article on Livni to be published tomorrow.

Livni also criticized the exaggerated use that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is making of the issue of the Iranian bomb, claiming that he is attempting to rally the public around him by playing on its most basic fears. Last week, former Mossad chief Ephraim Halevy said similar things about Iran...

1. Well their message is that the Iranians are just that insane and suicidal.
A sane Iranian leadership determined to last for the next century getting nukes is far scarier to Israel in the long run.

2. "It would suicidal for Iran to ever nuke Israel"
Of course we know no one in the Middle-East would commit suicide to strike at Israel.

3. how often have entire countries done something with ZERO chance of success?
That was 100% guaranteed suicidal?

The leadership of a country is not the same as some kid with visions of glory and 72 virgins in his head.

9. This thread needs to be hidden quick.
We are supposed to be sucking up the fear-mongering so that the Iran "counter-offensive" tugs at our patriotic heartstrings. Truth has no place in this exercise.

11. my bad. And the Jews and Muslims have been fighting for thousands of years....
which is why when the Muslims left Spain, the Jews figured they'd be better off going WITH them than staying behind under Christian rulers.

so much history to forget...

12.  The Islamic Republic of Iran is at least
10-20 years engineering their own bomb.
Any threats whipped-up by the hysterical American regime fall on deaf ears.
