WTF is up with Contessa Brewer?
Edited on Thu Oct-25-07 10:25 AM by PCIntern
Does the new studio mean that she gets to wear Saturday night/plunging-neckline outfits in bright red?

On edit: and BOOTS too...

...just like Aline Saarinen used to wear...or Lesley Stahl...

:sarcasm:

3. Apparently the vee neck is in fashion?
One of the correspondents is also wearing one.

I don't see any 'items' on display despite the 'vee.' The boots ARE a little off putting. They certainly are all the way to the knee!!

And it's the FABRIC that is a bit...strange. I am no style expert but it looks like Santa Claus bright red polyester and fake leopard--a Jungle Santa theme, perhaps, that we're missing?

4. I suppose that was what I was reacting to...
she looks like she's dressed for a premiere of one of those avat-garde films back in the 60's.

5. She looks like she's playing a slightly hot Santa's Helper in a Tarzan film.
Those BOOTS really put the whole ensemble over the top. Now, I know nothing about fashion, so take this from whence it comes, but it seems to me that leopard print is, what, the new pin stripe? And the vee neck is now mandated?

First we see Mrs. Diaper Boy Vitter defending her Senator-husband, "Huggies" Vitter, wearing a tight, VEE necked, leopard dress, and now here's Ms. Brewer, giving us the days headlines all dolled up in vee necked, blaring red and leopard?

I guess that VEE neck really IS in fashion--Monica Novotny is talking with another correspondent, and they both have them on....! I'll probably spend the rest of the day noticing them...!
