Thoughts and prayers appreciated for

friends of a friend of mine. Last night both their 15 month old twins drowned. Supposedly they were sleeping but woke and somehow filled the tub and wound up drowning. We shall see... in any event your cosmic good thoughts I'm sure would be would be appreciated. I must now go home and hug my kids. ;(

Having had 10 month olds, I can actually imagine this happening. Children of that age become very independent. Most children enjoy taking baths and think of it as a lot of fun. I can imagine twins getting up and deciding to take a secret bath for fun and then drowning. This is so sad.

I don't even know how to reply to such a situation except to say I'm sorry and that any good vibes I'm able to summon forth will be directed toward these folks.

I don't know how people live through a tragedy like this - That probably says more about my shortcomings than theirs... Prayers headed their way.
