Does anyone really think that Cheney is going to leave his Emperorship?
Edited on Thu Oct-25-07 03:44 PM by ProfessorPlum
Cheney right now has the power to do whatever he wants. It's clearly what he's been working all of his life for. He's used his power to start 2 wars (with another on the way) to take control of Middle Eastern oil reserves.

Doesn't it seem a little odd to think of him giving up his power now, to some idiot like Tom Tancredo or Mike Huckabee? Or, worse still, to Obama or Edwards, or Gore?

I just can't see it happening - - and yet, unless the elections have already been abrogated, that's exactly what is going to happen in about 15 months. Weird.

1. Fifteen months is an eternity for someone in Electric Dick's physical condition.
He may very well be called DOWN yonder long before a transition is supposed to take place.

3. One can only hope.
We can at least encourage him to go on more world tours that involve long plane flights...

5. That and..
force him to slither past a mile-long wall of leaky microwave ovens. That's bound to do the job. Just watch that pacemaker start to jump around like a mad cricket.

4. He says he doesn't want him and chimpy to leave office
without *solving* the Iran "nuclear crisis". So, they will have to act soon, or stay on longer. I don't think any resolution will come, politically, diplomatically or militarily within the next 15 months. Especially with the language they are using.

7. their plans for total world domination are in full swing..
you'd have to be pretty naive to believe that they're willing to just hand the reins to some Democrat.

11. yes. absolutely.
I think he's gotten what he wanted- 8 years to rape and plunder and cause havoc in the world. I don't think he has any interest in staying on.

13. Cheney & his PNAC buddies will not rest
until the whole world is plunged into their paranoid/controlling agenda.

Bush 41 got it right. He kept Cheney at arm's length.
