Bush has on a bullet proof vest I bet a million
Before they take the picture down, go to CNN online home page and look at the picture of the man and woman he is "PREYING" with.

1. It wouldn't surprise me.
Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if any American president wears a bullet proof vest.

10. I agree . . . there are too many nuts running around
They all should be wearing them . . . even junior.

2. I've often thought about this over the Bush years ...
... and I'm sure we won't know the definitive numbers until after he leaves office. But one can only wonder how much more money has been spent on protective measures for the Idiot as opposed to the usual expenditure for other US presidents.

I have no doubt that the sum is mind-boggling.

4. He probably has a bulletproof jock strap
Because Lord knows, a direct hit on his head wouldn't do much damage to his intellect.

8. Clinton did.
Of course Clinton was known to read reports longer than two pages in length and speak off the cuff about facts and figures. But it's worth noting that as insular as they were, Clinton's people were protecting a man whose basic instinct was to meet and listen to average people.

Hey, how come there aren't any photos of Bush comforting people in New Orleans?

7. In another, closer up photo of the same scene, it looks like he doesn't
I mean, horrors that the president of the United States would wear protective clothing in a public venue. But in this shot it looks like the normal range of paunch you'd expect in a 60 year old man.

Of course it's still cool to loathe the man. But I find loathing based on facts to be so much more satisfying.

14. I don't think he's offering.
Seriously, do you think for a second that the people he "comforts" aren't screened well in advanced?

16. I'm sure they are pre-selected and screened. My comment didn't
warrant a sarcastic remark that I'd expect from a Pug... I was making a reference to him being the devil and burning my skin...

Well - not impossible.
