"How dare you" :: The Big Dawg takes on 9/11 Truth hecklers (VIDEO)
Bill Clinton Takes On 9/11 Conspiracy Protesters

Bill Clinton addressed a crowd in Minneapolis, Minnesota at a fundraiser for his wife's campaign on Tuesday.

Clinton's 50-minute speech, which started about an hour behind schedule, was derailed briefly by several hecklers in the audience who shouted that the 2001 terrorist attacks were a fraud. Rather than ignoring them, Clinton seemed to relish a direct confrontation.

"A fraud? No, it wasn't a fraud," Clinton said, as the crowd cheered him on. "I'll be glad to talk to you if you shut up and let me talk."

When another heckler shouted that the attacks were an "inside job," Clinton took even greater umbrage.

"An inside job? How dare you. How dare you. It was not an inside job," Clinton said. "You guys have got to be careful, you're going to give Minnesota a bad reputation."

All that planning and cover up needed a whole lot more than a few months to pull off. Big Dog is in it up to his ears. :sarcasm:

4. Tim Pawlenty and Norm Coleman will give Minnesota a bad reputation
Those who don't quietly accept all that Bushco dishes out will not - even when we don't all agree with their methods or the issue they choose to question.

8. Why does Clinton's response make me think Lihop is true? He certainly hasn't been a former
president in the mold of Jimmy Carter, but possibly he has deliberately kept a low profile out of conviction or intent to not upstage.

His reponse reminds me of Rice's reaction when finally called to account regarding 9/11. ,,,,,,her expression of shock that anyone would suggest that they had ignored warnings. (followed by her infamous statement that: we thought it was going to be an ordinary hijacking.

I continue to believe that the failure to warn the workers at The World Trade Center (the likely target-especially as the former bombers had just been convicted in June) regarding the warnings they were receiving was a failure of duty resulting in great loss of life. Remember the people who obeyed the instruction to remain in the buildings and even to return to the building. How many would have done so if they had been alerted in prior weeks?

The security for Bush himself that summer of 2001 in Europe was incredible. Parallels what Valerie Plame said about Bush, Chaney and Tenant protecting themselves but refusing protection for her when threats were received.

11. Hosting the GOP convention
already gives them a bad reputation.

You'll know it was all a set up if Hillary is faced with the question and responds something to the effect- I agree with what Bill said.

29. Yes - righteous indignation...
the professional politician's fallback position.

"How dare you!"

"That's ABSURD/RIDICULOUS/OUTRAGEOUS!!!"

(BTW I like Big Dog and don't blame him for being defensive although in reality a full investigation of the events leading up to 9/11 would put him in a much better light than the neocon propaganda machine has painted him).

25. It's very frustrating...
...because, while it is true that the hecklers come off looking foolish to most people, it is also true that the official story of what happened on 9/11 reeks to high heaven. And most Americans know that -- from one angle or another most of us doubt what we've been told.

Yet it's one of those third rail things -- how dare we imply that it was an inside job.

Now I don't want to get into a detailed discussion that belongs on the 9/11 forum. Suffice to say, there remain many unanswered questions: the NORAD stand-down, or at least their failure to respond in a timely fashion; the "put options" that were never traced; the steel from the buildings that was rushed out of the country to be melted down before any proper investigation could be done; and quite tellingly, the attempt by Bush to shut down any investigation whatsoever -- although he did finally relent, allowing a few million $ for the effort -- a fraction of what was spent to investigate Bill Clinton, and a fraction of what was immediately allocated for the space shuttle investigation when it went down.

So people are understandable frustrated by the coverup, and as a result, yes they will make up their own narrative. However, shouting down people in various public venues is a very effective way to get completely marginalized.

The real question is this: how the hell do any of us do something effective to find the truth about this and other matters? We are living in an age of deception. In particular, the government, the military, the media and the corporations will lie to the public (aka the great unwashed) at any time, and for any reason they like. How do you fight that? Truth-tellers like Paul Wellstone end up dead, people who dig for the truth end up smeared and/or dead, people who meddle in these affairs where they are not wanted also end up dead. People who try to work methodically to get at the truth are either co-opted, or simply ignored. So I ask again: for those of us who see these things, who see that we are lied to routinely, that the truth is withheld -- buried, really -- what exactly can we do that might have a prayer of being effective?

31. I beleive Bill Clinton suffered a brain injury during his
open heart surgery a few years back. He hasn't been the same since. Certainly doesn't appear to be the same Bill that was President.
