Man Urinated On Neighbor As She lay Dying In Street
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/wn_report/2007/10/26/2007-10-26_man_urinated_on_neighbor_as_she_lay_dyin.html?ref=rss

An ex-soldier who urinated on a neighbor as she lay dying in the street while a friend recorded the incident on a cell phone was sentenced Friday to three years in prison.

"This is YouTube material!" Anthony Anderson shouted as he stood over the helpless woman.

Anderson, 27, of Hartlepool in northeast England, earlier pleaded guilty to a charge of outraging public decency."You violated this woman in an incredible way," Judge Peter Fox told Anderson.

Anderson admitted he did nothing to help Christine Lakinski, 50, after she collapsed in the street last July. Instead, the court was told, he poured water over Lakinski, then urinated on her. He later ran home and got a can of shaving cream, which he sprayed on her.

A crowd gathered around watching and laughing and one of Anderson's friends captured the incident on his cell phone.

40. Is it possible the onlookers thought everyone involved were friends, and thought
they were just being complete asses, ie. that nothing SO unimaginable was going on?

I have to tell myself that it's possible, anyway...

23. Worse than Kitty Genovese.
There, you had a bunch of people who knew a woman was being murdered but chose not to get involved. Here, you have a woman dying, with no danger to anyone else other than herself, and a sick loser abusing her body as she dies, treating her like dirt--and these people are cheering him on and recording it for the personal "entertainment" of others.

The only way Kitty Genovese's murder could have been comparable is if you had one guy standing there with a movie camera and another selling tickets.

And the details make it even worse...he ran home, got a can of shaving cream and continued? I would love to know what thoughts were running through his head while he made the conscious extra effort to do that. Or were any? Or do I really want to know?

The actor Anthony Anderson has had his own run-ins with the law, but not this.

Not sure if you were being humorous are sarcastic.

22. I just saw a story about someone who got three years for killing puppies.
I don't know whether prison isn't too good for people like this. I wish I could think of a punishment truly fitting the crime, but how do you know it would even penetrate the thick skull of someone like that?

People like him love to kill for the high. At least that what it states in the crime dramas I read.

37. Heartless
I wonder if that poor woman was concious enough to know what was happening to her?! It makes me wonder if they had known each other, or if that was the first time they met. Not that it makes any difference, just want to get some perspective on whether or not they were friends, enemies, strangers etc. No excuse for that. I guarantee that's not the first inhumane thing he's done.
