a saturday morning rant:
it is not the job of the president of the usa to protect israel.a blog on tom paine states that bio fuel is as dirty as oil, this is true, but the point of bio fuel is to decrease our dependence on arab oil.so right now we use dirty fuel and pay the arabs for it,with regards to bio fuel, its dirty but we pay iowans for it, the money stays here.now i know that as smart as americans are they could find a way to make bio fuel clean thus breaking the backs of the arabs, of course this also means breaking the backs of big oil thats the problem.where is teddy when you need him?the president of the usa is not responsible for protecting israel.

1. Protecting Israel Is Just Another Smoke Screen
and not their real motive.

2. How long before this gets locked
I agree 100% that we shouldn't be starting wars in the mid east in the name of israel. But the neocons and right wing have this warped sense of reality that israel is the key to the end of the earth which they are trying to rush along.

3. Actually,
if you think the war in Iraq was done in the name of Israel, you're wrong. And your understanding of neocon philosophy is also deficient. The neocons, by and large, don't give a rat's ass about the apocalypse; they're interested in domination and control of the Mideast for other reasons. Think oil to start with.
