FEMA official involved in fake press conference resigns.

On Tuesday, while “wildfires raged” in California, FEMA staged a live press conference at which agency staffers posed as journalists and asked softball questions. One of those staffers, Director of External Affairs John “Pat” Philbin, has now resigned. He has instead landed an “amazing opportunity” to head public affairs at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

Just in case you haven't heard. This is a travesty! Now the Bush Admin gives this guy a promotion and to our Intelligence community as well. Like we need more fools over there. Do something about this please. This man should be booted out of government service FOREVER. He is a liar, a cheat and has no business representing any of our taxpayer funded agencies.

The fake news conference did what it was suppose to do. During the heat of the discussion, the benign FEMA news conference defused most negative media attention against FEMA.
