Money Trumps Peace (a few thoughts)
Money Trumps Peace.

I had to watch it, before commenting on it. He said it in ‘deep thought’ (okay yea as deep as * can get) …….. but I had to see for myself tonight (C-SPAN Re-Run) in what context he said it. And he said it as ‘something he believes in’. He paused for a moment, looked up contemplating, and actually put these words together himself, no ear-piece, no one else answering for him, and blurted this out …… “Money Trumps Peace.”

And regardless of the question asked which had to do with our European Allies doing business with Iran ……while his administration seeks to enforce sanctions against them (Iran) on unsubstantiated evidence, and more bogus claims against another Sovereign Nation. This ... “Money Trumps Peace” IS his answer to the supposed …… ‘Iranian problem‘ (and the ongoing Iraqi problem too); This IS the reasoning to why just about the rest of the known civilized world disagrees with his Neo-Con, War Profiteering, Blood For Oil, PNAC, New World Order, Hegemonic , Imperialistic …… Crimes Against Humanity policy's and on and on ... this “Money Trumps Peace.”

Does that register? It’s a philosophy unto itself if anyone had the inclination to dissect, study, digest, contemplate, and implement a whole societal way of living (or dieing) based on it. “Money Trumps Peace.” Wow ... I think I’ve seen the light ... keep it simple.

War Is Peace.
Freedom is Slavery
Ignorance is Strength.

Ps: a last thank ‘you’ for my heart, and everyone here at DU whether you got one or not. Your ALL (even the ones I’ve cussed at …. argued with and on and on) in this DU‘ers heart, and I'm not the only one that feels that way. Back me up on this you fuckers. ;) Peace and Fight On!

1. Money Trumps Shame. We should ask ever conservative if they
stand behind Bush on that statement "Money Trumps Peace." There it is, that sums up the neocons in three simple words. We should shout that from the hilltops! That explains everything they have done the last 6 years.

2.  Bottom line in the NeoConservative Mind .....
"Money Trumps Peace" ...... okay use republican mind, unrelenting capitalist mind or whatever .... When 'Money' becomes your God beyond caring for your fellow human being, the planet, love, PEACE ... a whole slew of metaphor's of what 'Life' encompasses ... you loose your humanity. Right before * left his press-conference today (with his tail between his legs, because he had already said too much) he was rambling on about how some 'ideology' would like to 'prevail'; and if you get a chance to watch this press conference again ..... tell me, was he not speaking 'Monetarily' and not philosophically? "Money Trumps Peace."

3. He was saying that our "allies" in EU were more worried about
the oil they get from Iran than the supposed nukes in Iran. Personally I think he has forgotten that much of the rest of the world see him as the most dangerous man in the world. He wants control of ME oil (money) for himself and co. The allies at least have a real need to trade with Iran while *ss just wants to make himself and co. richer. Yes money does trump peace but it is *ss that puts money before peace.

4. He tends to parrot things he's heard before.
I'm not sure who or how many have been pushing this line to him, but certainly Bush believes it to be meaningful and intelligent and so he blurted it out.

A little policy truth leaked out, basically.

7. Yep ..... he's pushing a bombing campaign against Iran .... because of $
He came up with this Quads force (Iran) today .... he's pushing for a war with Iran, because of $ .... it's a given. Whoever told him, it's a policy and they will again fix the intelligence around the policy. Replay. Peace, someday.

9. I saw it as a breach of the ignornace that they work so hard to
maintain as well. Just like when he told Lauer that you could never really win "the war on terror", then had to spin like a top to cover that statement and his tracks. He let loose today with truth that I hope haunts him for the rest of his life. I know I will NEVER forget that he said it.
