3. Congrats Red Sox!
Wish you could donate one of your championships this year to us in Philly, though. :hi:

(assuming the Patriots, Boston College, and Celtics also win)

4. Maybe it's me, but I've never seen a team that 1) has so much fun winning
and 2) relate to their fans so well. Boston really loves this team....the '04 team will always be special, but these guys seem like they are all closer to the fans.

7. You must've missed last year's ALCS
After Detroit swept the A's at Comerica, the players came out of the clubhouse, soaked in champagne and many minus their shoes, shirts, etc., and went around the stands, partying with the fans — not just giving quick high-fives; they were in the seats, dancing and stuff.

Coolest thing I ever saw in baseball.

10. Hell, St. Louis shouldn't have beaten the Mets
But, as has been said so often, baseball's a funny game.

5. They had a game? I thought the world series was last week.
Unless you count whatever mediocre garbage team the NL was capable of putting out they were forced to play this week.

9. I agree; the World Series occurred between the Indians and Red Sox.
This was just the traditional end-October four-game victory lap. (Damn Cardinals last year got uppity. Tigers were obviously confused as to why the other team was swinging the bat.)

11. Oh I'm gonna love tomorrow.
Rubbing in the victory to the Yankees fans. Sweet sweet victory.

(For the record, I live east of the Connecticut River, the rough dividing line between the Stankees Hudson trash fans and the real New Englanders:P. It's quite dangerous to walk into the wrong bar this time of year...)

And to the Nutmegger Yankees fans out there, just a playful jab.
