for MiraBellaAnaLisa, my dog. We just found out our puppy has bi-lateral hip dysplasia. She already has trouble walking.



The vet asked me, "how far will you go to cure her?" I told him I'd dig up Jerry Falwell if I had to.

yes we are first trying the medicine and rest now but they can do a hip replacement. It's expensive but I'm not a guy that ever thought pets were disposable so I will probably do it. They also have this operation where they cut the balls off the femur and let the dog's muscle do the work.

5. Very sad, she is a major cutie!

Bilateral hip dysplasia is what wiped out Irish Setters in the US due to indiscriminate breeding.

Her age is a plus, her weight will be an issue, surgery is likely in the future for her. I've known 2 dogs w/ good outcomes (one excellent), and one w/ a bad one.

I live a block away from the WSU vet school, probably the best in the nation. They diagnosed it and fell in love with MiraBellaAnaLisa. We have to keep her from playing too much but she's half border collie and half black lab, all she wants to do is play.

I can see why you would want to spend a ton of $$$ on her. She is priceless- look at those sweet eyes.
