Bush*/Cheney can't finish a job...

1. Afghanistan and Osama...six and one-half years and the situation is still open-ended

2. Iraq...four years and no solution in sight

3. New Orleans...long forgotten (Has Cheney ever stopped in?)

and now they want to start another war. You know what, maybe Iran needs attacking, but Bush* and Cheney don't have the track record to do it. The job should wait for the next administration. Anyone who defends this administration should be ashamed. Really they have no record of any kind of accomplishment. They write checks they can't cash!

I'll bet anything that back in school, Bush* never turned anything in on time, and Dick Cheney cheated to get his grades. There are 300 million people in this country and at least 100 million could have done a better job.

1. The Mistake is Thinking They Ever Intended To
I think Randi Rhodes and others have it right: Bush came into office with the intention (1) to create endless war in the Middle East; and (2) to engineer profits from it, on behalf of his client corporatists.

Actually, he's been remarkably successful. All he ever wanted was his (Cheney's) fingers on the buttons.

The rest is Halliburton.

3. I can agree with that, but I can't believe that honest Republicans would
accept that logic. Now I know that the fundies make up a portion of his support and the white, male, bully population are a source of support, but is the Republican Party willing to cast its future with these guys?

6. Why is it so hard to believe?
"Honest Republicans" generally come in two sorts: (1) "Wall Street Journal" Republicans, who want less government and more profits; and (2) Fundamentalist Evangelical Republicans, who want lip service (because it's all they've ever gotten from the Bush Administration) to their conservative social agenda (abortion, etc.)

In short, their honesty is a function of their agenda(s). They believe in the American government only insofar as it serves their goals.

They are either monsters or willing cohabitants with monsters.

4. Why can't Democrats get any kind of traction with this...
Even FOX Snooze would not be able to justify the incompetence.

5. I think it is a much more effective strategy than saying they are "evil"
(although they are indeed evil as well)
